Overview of Enneagram Two

Type Two is considerate, demonstrative, agreeable, and possessive. We are drawn to Type 2s because they are generous in their efforts to love and care for others and they are great at creating a comfortable space for others. They have a desire to feel loved.

Type 2s enter a room and their attention goes to what others need and how they can meet those needs. They have a strong orientation towards serving and giving to others, but they don’t always stop to consider if the other person actually needs their help.

Because Type 2s are so in tune with the feelings of those around them, they struggle to discern how they are personally feeling or what they individually need. They can struggle to know who they are outside of relationships.
